The secret diary of a single parent bloke
I’m feeling really good about things. Natalia and Jack are both settled in to school full time, the mornings are easier now that a childminder is taking them to school for me, I’ve realised how much weight I’ve lost over the last few months and have treated myself to new clothes, and Jody is wonderful. Even the credit card company have finally accepted that the debt isn’t mine, and have stopped hassling me- I even got a refund on what I had to pay them to keep them off my back!
I feel good, and look pretty good too (for the first time in ages).
I can’t believe that within six months of splitting from Katrina, I’ve met someone so perfect, and how much my life has transformed. And it’s not just me- Natalia and Jack have also changed too. Both have improved massively at school, and Jack is generally well behaved now, frequenting the “naughty step” far less often. Several people have said that I’ve “gone back to how I used to be”, whatever that means.
I feel truly lucky, and proud at what I’ve achieved.
