The secret diary of a single parent bloke
I’ve received Natalia and Jack’s school reports. Both are very good, and I’m very proud of them. And like all proud parents, I phone up their grandparents to boast.
Lydia is especially pleased, especially after the school’s earlier concerns. Pardon? What earlier concerns?
Apparently, some months earlier, Kat had been asked to speak to Jack’s teacher regarding his development. The school were unhappy with his development and progress, and something needed to be done about it. Katrina was furious- she was going to make a formal complaint, the school were morons and hadn’t got the first clue about what they were doing, apparently.
Why did I not know this? Lydia and Dad assumed that I knew all about it, but never brought it up because it was such a touchy subject.
It looks as if Natalia’s teacher wasn’t the only one to notice a positive change since Kat went. I’m very proud of both of them.
