Another chat with the police

The policeman assigned to the case called me to discuss the progress of the ongoing credit card problem. They’re calling it “theft”, “identity theft” and “fraud”- it really makes you aware of the importance of the situation when you hear the police using those terms about it.

Just like in the police station, when I was making my statement, he couldn’t believe that I didn’t know what she was doing. I’m sure that they think that I’m either a moron, or this is just some ruse to clear a debt and piss off my ex.

Unfortunately, the credit card company still hadn’t provided the documents that the police require. What’s wrong with them? Surely once the facts are established, they can pursue her and get their money (or at least some of it), ‘cos they’re not getting any from me!

What a nightmare. Does she know at this point that you’re on to her?

I just don’t get it. It’s money, but where do these people get off on feeling happy that they’ve stolen it from someone else. Does the human conscience not exist any more?
Revenge is evil. That’s my 2cents worth.

    Sad. Very, very sad.
