The secret diary of a single parent bloke
This is my secret diary, which I’ve compiled since 2004. It charts the fall of my marriage, becoming a single parent father, and the rebuild of our lives. Dummies, dating disasters, fraud and friends, I think I’ve just about been through it all.
As my children, Natalia and Jack, grow up and bring new adventures and challenges, I’ll keep updating. I hope that you’ll share my diary with me.
I’ll be adding backdated diary entries every Wednesday until all six-years worth are online.

Several months ago, I booked a holiday for the three of us. Once again my life has been drastically changed, this time the huge step is going from redundancy to starting up my own business, and it’s made me re-evaluate many things about myself. One of the unexpected changes to my life, post redundancy, has been my shopping. More time at home means more time to cook nice things- and go out and buy the ingredients. Yesterday, I was escorted from work and locked out. Today, I walked Natalia and Jack to school. We held hands, played “tag” and chatted about anything in the morning’s warm summer sun.
